Amazon is responsible for delivering packages directly to your front door and not leaving them in the lobby alcove. If your package is not delivered to your front door REPORT IT TO AMAZON via phone or email!! The more complaints they get, the more they will crack down on the delivery people and fix the issue.
Follow these easy steps:
Go to Amazon.com and pull up the order number.
Call 1-888-280-4331 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Tell the field supervisor that you are dissatisfied with the lack of delivery of your package and that it was left in a publicly accessible area rather than at your front door. Explain that you want to file a formal complaint and insist that packages be delivered to the unit number on the order. Remind them that building Management has provided Amazon with access to the building therefore there is no reason for the lack of proper delivery.
