Board meetings take place every 4th Monday of the month in the Amenities Room with Executive Session at 5:00 pm (closed to members) and Executive Session at 6:00 pm (open to homeowners). Should the day and/or time of the meetings change notices will be posted in the mailroom and elevator lobby bulletin boards.


Action has LOWERED the fee for electronic mailings, because we anticipate more owners will select email delivery as part of their Civil Code §4041 address verification process. (§4041 requires homeowners to annually verify their address or addresses to which notices from the association are to be delivered.) The fee for copies is going up because paper, toner, and everything else has gotten more expensive. The more owners we can get signed up for email delivery, the lower the cost of distribution of things like budgets and audits are to the association. Please sign up for email consent ASAP on your resident portal at: as the Audit will be physically printed and mailed at the end of April to anyone who has not provided Email Consent.


In observance of President’s Day, the management and engineer office will be closed on Monday, February 21, 2022. The management and engineer office will reopen on Tuesday, February 22, 2021. If there is an emergency, please contact Action Property Management via phone at (800) 400-2284.

Upcoming Pool Area Closure 2/21-3/4:

Aria’s Pool and Spa Area will be closed from Monday, February 21st through Friday, March 4th, to accommodate Aria’s annual pool service contract maintenance with 1-Stop Pool Pros. The annual maintenance consists of draining and refilling the pool, and performing filter treatments, heater cleanings, and inspections. We anticipate this closure lasting 11 days and to be later this month, final dates to be announced. For safety reasons, the pool area will be closed while the pool does not have water inside it. The pool is drained yearly due to build-up of Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) that accumulate over time including dust, dirt, plant matter, chemical solids to sanitize and pH balance the water, as well as chemicals from hair care products, body lotions, deodorants, sun blocks, skin cells, urine, and sweat.

Cortez Hill Active Residents Group (CHARG)

If you didn’t already know, there is an active resident group for the Cortez Hill district that is called CHARG. They have an email mailing list that residents can sign up for regarding information to the Cortez district and Downtown San Diego. This includes newsletters, event invitations, and calls to action. We encourage all residents at Aria to sign up for their email distributions by clicking here.

Interior Painting: Eco Paint will be beginning painting on the 24th floor on Monday, January 31st and continuing down the building. It is imperative that no one touches the walls while they are drying. Please take extra caution to ensure that you do not.

Lateral Jetting Project: Pipetrades will be completing lateral jetting in the parking garage Wednesday, February 2nd and Thursday, February 3rd. Those with parking spaces affected by this project have already received a notice. Please utilize extra caution when driving during this project due to the plumbers throughout the garage.

Mailboxes: You may or may not have noticed that two of the parcel lockers’ doors are broken off. Unfortunately, these mailboxes are no longer manufactured so there are not parts available to make a repair. The Board approved Hillcrest Construction to work with USPS and the Board on the design for replacement mailboxes, which are reserved for in your budget.
