Manager’s Messages

Board meetings take place every 4th Monday of the month in the Amenities Room with Executive Session at 5:00 pm (closed to members) and Executive Session at 6:00 pm (open to homeowners). Should the day and/or time of the meetings change notices will be posted in the mailroom and elevator lobby bulletin boards.

Bulk Item Disposal

Please do not leave large items such as mattresses, furniture, or appliances by the dumpsters. Refuse company, EDCO, will not throw these items away if they are left by the dumpsters.

Instead, schedule a bulk trash pick-up directly with EDCO by calling 619-287-7555. All large items must be scheduled in advance and a fee paid to EDCO for it to be collected. On the scheduled day of pick-up, transport the item to the curb between the garage gate and neighboring parking lot.

Be sure to notify Management and submit a Delivery Form several days prior so the elevator can be padded for your transportation.

 

TREE TRIMMING: 9/27 & 9/28 @ 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

New Way Landscaping will be on the back slope trimming the Date Palms and Jacaranda trees on September 27 and 28 between 6:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. There is usually noise and possibly loose tree trimmings as a result so please keep your windows closed to minimize impact to your unit if you face that side of the building.

 

AMENITY ROOM CLOSED: 9/17 – 9/18

The Amenity Room will be closed Monday, September 17 & Tuesday, September 18 from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. for painting. Please do not enter the room during this time and use the exterior gate for entering the pool/spa area. Thank you!

 

HOMEOWNERS – SUBMIT YOUR BALLOT FOR THE ANNUAL ELECTION!

Please remember to submit your ballots electing for two (2) new Board Members. The Annual Meeting will take place on September 24 @ 6:00 p.m. in the Amenity Room.

If your ballot has been misplaced, please feel free to contact the onsite General Manager to receive a replacement msuarez@actionlife.com.

Remember: In order for your ballot to count, be sure it is completed according to the instructions; place your ballot it in the white envelope then put the white envelope into the green envelope. As ballots are anonymous, please DO NOT PUT YOUR NAME ON THE BALLOT or on the white envelope. However, you must print, sign and include your unit address on the exterior portion of the green envelope in order for quorum to be determined. One ballot per household.

MANAGEMENT OFFICE CLOSED: LABOR DAY 9/3

The Management and Engineering offices will be closed on Monday, September 3 in observance of Labor Day. The Manager will respond to messages upon her return the next business day. Should you experience a property threatening emergency please call 800-400-2284.

ACTUAL EMERGENCY

Garage gate stuck closed or open. Access system to the building is not working. Lobby doors are not locking;

Flood or active leak into your unit or into the common area;

Fire in the building and/or emergency alarms sounding;

Someone trapped in an elevator.

NOT AN EMERGENCY

Lock out of your unit or car (call a locksmith);

Your car was towed or someone else is parked in your space (call the tow company Western Towing – information is on the gate);

A clogged sink that is not flooding (call your own plumber);

Loud party or noise violation (call security or the non-emergency police);

“Beep” every few minutes from your a smoke alarm (change the battery);

One elevator not working (only an emergency if 2 or more elevators are shut-down);

Car broken into or stolen (call the police to file a report then email the Manager).
