Washing Machine Suggestions

Dear Aria Residents,

Have you ever come home to a leak coming from your washer? Well, residents can prevent damage from an occurrence like this by installing a drain pan under their appliances. This will prevent damage to your flooring and make you aware of a possible leak or water line break. We also ask that residents be cautious of the amount of laundry detergent they are using when utilizing their washing machine. If too much detergent is used, it could cause detergent suds to come out from your drain inlet or another resident’s drain inlet on the same stack as yours. The photo above is an example of what detergent suds look like when too much detergent is used. Residents are encouraged to use detergent pods as these are portioned out with the right amount of liquids for everyday use.
