Water Shut Off – 11/11/20

Dear Aria Residents,

On Wednesday, November 11th, the water for floors 1-7 and 17-24 will be shut off from 9am-3pm in order for several units to having plumbing work completed.

If you have angle stops that need replacement or other plumbing work that requires a water shut off, please contact Pipe Trades (619-452-2334) so you can be added to the next water shut off for the building.

After a water shut-off, we have discovered that air gets trapped in the pipes; in order to clear this issue and get your pressure back to normal please run your hot and cold water for the sink and tub in BOTH of your bathrooms at the same time for at approximately 1-2 minutes. This will cause the air to escape through your fixtures and allow the plumbing to stabilize itself.

Also, your aerator in the kitchen and bathroom sink may get clogged after a water shut-off. It is recommended that you clean and remove any debris or mineral built up. I’ve included a link as to how to clean your faucet aerator: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9Du7vEA4oM.
