Areas marked in Red above (including the balcony interiors marked within the red rectangle) are forecasted to start ahead of schedule on Friday, April 12th with power washing.Please remember keep windows closed and bring balcony items inside to allow for thorough power washing of the exterior.
KMP will be moving the swing stage baskets quite a bit in this area to work with the balcony pop outs.
Unfortunately, we are not able to provide precise notification of which units will be power washed, masked and painted in what order due to the way the swing stage/weight system is set up on this façade.
KMP will only pressure wash and mask off each drop they are actively working on so no one should have their windows masked for more than two weeks at a time (weather permitting).
The painters need to be able to adjust between the swing stage drops quickly over the next three weeks, which is why the entire marked west elevation is what is scheduled to begin April 12th.
The goal is to successfully reach all areas with the swing stage and without scaffolding. With different anchors allowing reach for difference distances, there will be some moving around from drop to drop out of order.
Once this elevation is complete, KMP will then continue from painting around the bottom terrace exterior on the west elevation before moving on to the upper tower portion of the west façade approximately Wednesday, April 24th.
